Between Jack Nekhala and Michael Nusinkis, there’s over a decade of experience in the textile industry—and even more years of friendship and shared determination. That same day, he called his longtime friend and business partner, Michael Nusinkis. Jack and Mike had built together before—and they both knew they were on to something that could change the way people sleep.
From that moment on, the two worked side-by-side, experimenting, prototyping, and pouring everything into this idea. Jack refinanced his home, and together they raised over $200,000 to bring the concept to life. Jack flew to China four times, working directly with manufacturers to perfect the design.
In 2019—after four relentless years of development—the Bed Scrunchie was born.

At the time of launch, Jack’s daughter was three years old. She grew up right alongside the company and continues to be a light that fuels the mission.

At home, the Nusinkis family found creative new uses for the product.
